Leadership Effectiveness Training through our EI Coaching Program

Participants in IHHP’s two-day training EI program come to understand the importance of creating new brain neuropathways to develop more constructive behaviors. Coaching, or mentoring, is essential to this process. An IHHP EI coach supports and encourages participants to improve their leadership development skills through:

  • increasing their Emotional Quotient (EQ)
  • practicing Emotional Intelligence skills on the job (and at home)
  • seeing mistakes as opportunities to learn, and
  • growing new skills.

EI coaches are committed to helping each participant develop excellence in leadership and performance, both professionally and personally. They ensure that the skills developed will be as beneficial to work relationships as they are to those with family members or friends. An EI coach encourages change for a life lived more fully.
 

Our One-on-One Coaching Program:  Personal Leadership Development

Coaching, or mentoring, is most powerful at the individual level. Our coaching format, based on the principles of Emotional Intelligence, consists of three to six one-on-one telephone sessions designed to support and hold clients accountable as they work to achieve the personal development goals they committed to in the training program. Combined with IHHP’s powerful Emotional Intelligence training programs and the EI360 feedback tool, EI coaching will provide the support, focus and accountability individuals need for personal and professional growth.


How Does an EI Coach Help?

EI coaches act as mentors, confidantes and support as each participant navigates the challenges of life and work. Combining the principles of EQ and EI with their own knowledge and experience, our coaches assist in guiding individuals and groups to solutions that work best for them.
